After I decided to apply Risd for my University (College), I started trying to create a drawing machine. My idea is simple. Use vibration to create movement which will move the drawing tool on the machine and machine itself.
I was inspired by THIS. Use motor to create vibration that move a ball of pencil that leave marks on the paper. My Drawing Machine is basically a improvement on the one in the link. My goal is to create a drawing machine that able to create draw in a variety if media and require only some human supervision.
This is my first prototype. Drawer Mk1. Can only use pencil. >_<#(☆_☆)/~~
It is very small and slow. It fallen apart on the first try, so I created my second prototype on the same day.
This is my second drawing machine prototype. Drawer Mk.2
Bigger and stable. Able to attach up to 4 pen/pencil/maker. Power by one 9V battery.
I tried it out and it actually works. Here is some painting created though Drawer Mk.2.
